I hope you're all enjoying the Fall Season?
Well I am officially moving to Bangkok, Thailand for a few months on November 11th!!
What does that mean for Tiny Cravings? Basically until I can get settled into my new apartment and figure out the ins and outs of shipping from Thailand and all that fun stuff (sure), I won't be able to accept custom orders. However! I have lots and lots of new and amazing items already available for sale right now on my Tiny Cravings Etsy!
The last of the Buttercream Party Cupcakes are all listed, as well as awesome new fall items like Pumpkin Pie Necklaces & Rings, and Caramel Apple Earrings...all which smell absolutely amazing by the way! If you love Pumpkin or Caramel Apple scents you need to pick one of these items up. =)
Also I've introduced a new collection of top quality absolutely stellar lockets. I have a few Nightmare Before Christmas inspired PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE SCENTED!!! lockets, as well as some beautiful Steampunk Heart Lockets, and some adorable Glowing Shroom Scenery Lockets. The Steampunk heart lockets are currently sold out, but I hope to have more steampunk items soon. Also a few of the lockets even GLOW in the dark, how cute is that?
Plus I currently have the yummiest Buttercream Birthstone Cupcakes available. Right now I only have 1 cupcake for each month, and there are still several months left so go and pick one up before they're all gone, as I don't know if I'll be making anymore of these yet or not. =)
I'm going to be listing all sorts of adorable Christmas/Holiday lockets as well...Gingerbread Houses, Christmas Town Scenes, all scented in gingerbread or candy cane yumminess depending on the design. So keep checking back for when I update my etsy with these new designs.

So what's going on at Tiny Cravings this month?
Yes right now the online store is all out of stock, and will remain so until after Halloween. I'm so thrilled to finally be caught up with all the orders from summer, that now I get to make tons of wonderful fall items for the Enchanted Ball on Halloween. I will be making fabulous Halloween goodies, but also Thanksgiving, and Christmas items...so I hope to have LOTS to show you when Tiny Cravings goes back online after this month. And everything that doesn't sell at the ball will be going up on my etsy. =)
Make sure you are signed up for my newsletter to get the latest news, and to find out when I'll be listing goodies up on etsy. I'll have lots of new items for you, not just little clay sweets and treats, but a whole variety of goodies, and hopefully some lovely art prints as well from some of my Fall designs and digital paintings...yet to be seen.
I'll be taking pics of my progress as I work throughout the month, and keeping everyone as up to date as I can. I also don't want to release photos of my newest designs just yet because I've had annoying issues with posers, faux friends (frenemies), copycats, and sad design leachers lol...so I'm more careful about who I show my new stuff to.
That's ok though, there's only one Tiny Cravings, and they can try as hard as they want, but the quality will always fall short of what MY customers have come to expect. =) I will always have the best new designs...and will gladly accept the title of TRENDSETTER...rather than whine about copycats. =P lol

No Time To Say Hello Goodbye
Hey guys,
Sorry for the lack of updates recently...I've been smothered under a mound of orders and emails and am only very slowly beginning to crawl my way back out. Starting to see a very faint light at the end of the tunnel...
Anyways. When Tiny Cravings began, I wanted to be sure to give you, the customer, as many options as possible to completely customize your perfect jewelry items. However as time goes on I'm finding that there are just far too many of you with far too many tastes and interests that I simply cannot keep up in the customization aspect. Therefore, there will be big changes to Tiny Cravings soon...for you see...I too have my own tastes and interests...and most often...they do not coincide with that of my customers. Well they do at first, but by the 500th or so cupcake...it gets old. You understand? =) Yes, I think so.
So, I know I said I would have tons of Halloween items, but instead I'll be spending most of October preparing for a Halloween Ball where I will have a table and will be peddling my lovely Tiny Cravings items. I plan on having ALOT of items just in case, but have a feeling that I will probably over prepare...so everything that doesn't sell at the Ball will be listed on my etsy. Most likely at very reduced prices, depending on if it's Halloween stuff, general Fall stuff, Christmas...etc.
Which means that I'll most likely be closing off most of the online shop while I am preparing. I don't think I'll ever completely stop taking custom orders...I hate to disappoint and have a real problem saying "no" ...but in general, the custom options will disappear, and when Tiny Cravings comes back after Halloween with lots of great stuff for Christmas, there won't be many custom items anymore. I'll most likely be making what I want...whatever I want...and whatever I want seems to always be popular for at least awhile. I don't know if I'll completely start putting everything up on etsy or redesign my website to accommodate this...we'll see. I still have a long way to go before I get to that point. =P
But I'll be sure to keep everyone updated with what I'm doing in the next month, and take photos of the work that I'm doing, and lots of photos at the Ball on Halloween. =) I hope it's as fun as I'm expecting!

Ike remnants cause power outages in Ohio, Kentucky
Tiny Cravings is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Still 500,000 without power today!

NEW YORK, Sept 15 (Reuters) - The remnants of Hurricane Ike caused massive power outages across Ohio and Kentucky and into western Pennsylvania, with more than 1.6 million customers still without service early Monday, local utilities said.
Those areas joined Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana that were hit hard by the powerful storm. Ike left more than 3.5 million without power in the six states by Monday, according to the U.S. Department of Energy and utility companies.
The storm landed on the Texas coast early Saturday morning and then headed north and east through the Ohio Valley. High winds caused by the storm caused trees to fall onto power lines.
Duke Energy (DUK.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) crews were assessing damage and responding to outages that affected about 600,000 in Ohio and Kentucky, down from almost 1 million outages on Sunday, Duke said.
Most of Duke's outages were in the Cincinnati area.
FirstEnergy said at one point on Sunday about 1 million of its customers in Ohio and western Pennsylvania were without power. By Monday, about half of those had been restored. The hardest-hit areas were in Cleveland, Akron, Springfield and Youngstown in Ohio and Erie in Pennsylvania, the company said.
It could take days before power is restored to all customers, FirstEnergy (FE.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said.
AEP (AEP.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) unit AEP Ohio said more than 300,000 customers were without power in Ohio on Sunday night.

Big Update
Hey everyone!
Ok so I know this may disappoint alot of you ladies, especially those who have been anticipating the new Fall/Halloween stuff...but there will be a plus side, I promise.
I am so excited, because I got a table at this Enchanted Ball on Halloween here in downtown Cincinnati where I live. My cousin runs the event so I'll have a great table. =) However this means that I will be spending the rest of this month finishing up and getting everyone's orders out, and probably the entire month of October just preparing for the Ball...therefore I might have to close off online order during that time.
I know, I know...everyone gets so upset when I close the site down. But sometimes there's just no other way around it, unless I start giving people ridiculous 6-8 week TATs, and I already hate having it at 4 weeks! We'll see. I expect that it will take alot of preparing for this ball, as they are expecting around 1,000 people, and I'm going to be doing tons of Halloween stuff. Lots of Nightmare Before Christmas/Tim Burton style jewelry. =) Also lots of Gothic Lolita jewelry and accessories as well.
But here's the good news. Everything doesn't sell at the Ball will be up for sale on my etsy...and better yet...since I'll be selling Halloween stuff, after Halloween is over, expect it all to be much cheaper. So Basically, I'll have a huge after Halloween type sale. I'll still have lots of other fall goodies though, and hopefully will knock you girls out by the time Christmas comes...which I will start preparing for right after Halloween. =)
I'm really excited though! I will be super dressed up, am hoping for a Gothic Cinderalla type theme...you know, because it's a Ball...and this girl has been single way too long! hehe....maybe I'll meet my Prince right? Even if I am stuck behind a table all night. =P But I'm sure I'll have awesome friends who will help out as well so I can wander around and meet people.
If you are in the Cincinnati area...come to the Enchanted Ball...it will be amazing. I am so excited for this!! =)

Quick Update
I was so wanting to be properly prepared for Fall this year but time is making quite the fool of me. I will be shipping a ton of orders out in the next 2 weeks and after that I might have to take most of the items down from the site while I continue to play catch up and get things ready for Halloween. =)
I will most likely be posting ready made things up on Etsy and cease the custom orders for awhile. I'll be sure to let everyone know what I'll be posting and when. There are a few things here and there...like an extra blueberry smoothie cupcake, and a pineapple smoothie cupcake that I might post. Other than that the Summer Smoothies are RETIRED. For now. I'm sure they'll be back next year, but I've had many people asking when the Summer Smoothies are coming back...and well...what can I say...summer is OVER! Thank goodness. =P
I also plan on standardizing my cupcakes. Most likely, the only sort of cupcake bases I'll do from now on are the more realistic style ones as seen on the new buttercream cupcakes. So that means that the birthday cupcakes, the oreo ones, even the swirly top ones (if I don't decide to discontinue them, which I am seriously considering), will all have the same realistic style cupcake base. I want to change them now but I just don't have photos of them, and I don't want to send people something when they were expecting it to look differently (even if they like it better). So I might have to take all the cupcakes down until I can get photos of the new standardized look of them.
And yes, I did say I will most likely be discontinuing the swirly top cupcakes. It's not because they don't sell...in fact they are still a favorite...I just personally don't really like them anymore. And well, I'm not going to sell something that I don't like just because it makes me money. *shrug* I suppose it's not good business, but I'm an artist first and foremost and that's what matters most to me.

Seeking Sanity
Hey guys...sorry I've been a bit MIA lately I've been crazy busy trying to get things done, entertaining company from out of town, dealing with a few supplier issues etc. etc. etc. I'm totally bummed out that I haven't even been able to BEGIN work on my Halloween goodies yet, and I'm still WAY behind on orders. I'm thinking of hiring a small contingency of Oompa Loompas...I hear they are amazing workers and their tiny little hands would be perfect for the job.
I really hate having TAT so long and making people wait weeks for their orders, but it's either that or close down the shop while I catch up for awhile...and that seems to cause even more confusion and stress attempting to answer the flood of emails I get about when I'll be opening back up or restocking, etc. I've already had lots and lots of requests to re-open the Summer Smoothies...but I tell ya...I just can't do it captain! I don't have the power!! =P
We had family visiting from Canada all weekend and of course it was my job to play entertainment director. If you've ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding it might give you a small image of what I was having to deal with ALL weekend. Yes. Being Arabic you get used to these things...but when you are trying to run a business and deal with pushy Arabs (no offense to my family I love them...but Arabs can be REALLY pushy lmao)...something's gotta give. In this case, quite likely my sanity? Let's hope not.
So now after a really long weekend all I want to do is rest, but the orders keep mounting up and there's just no time. I've never been one to claim that there aren't enough hours in the day but I tell ya...there just aren't! 24 just isn't enough. Yes I say 24 because sleep has quite simply become a thing of the past. Shame...as I used to be quite an avid lucid dreamer.
Hopefully sometime this week I'll be able to get back on track...and eventually get to start working on my new items. I was really hoping that this would be a quiet month so I could focus on fall items but it has turned out to be quite the opposite! Oh, don't you just love the irony?
I have plans. Big plans. Many plans. But time is making a fool of me...and I'm starting to get quite peeved. There's not much else I can do besides give up sleep. If only I had a Time Turner...*sighs* ...put that on my list of things I need, right along side a Pensieve.
I also need a break from clay, so once...if I ever manage...to catch up on these orders, I'm going to do more illustration work, and other designs. I'll be working with other materials and such...as I'm getting clayed out really quickly. We shall see. We shall see. Sorry I don't have better news or cheerier things to post about. I'm stressed to the limit and things just keep managing to go wrong no matter how hard I try to do things right.
Free hugs anyone? I need them. Lots of them. I'll update again soon...once my head doesn't feel as though it's completely detached from my body.

Summer Smoothies Going Bye Bye!!
Update...
I had to delay several orders due to the fact that I ran out of silver chains. I just can't keep them in stock!! I know that $5 for a sterling silver chain of this quality is actually really cheap, and I've had alot of people tell me I should raise my prices...but I offer the chain options to my clients as a special service to them. I'm not trying to make money off of that. I notice that some of my "competitors" <--(I call them this for lack of a better word, though I hate using that term) charge quite a bit more for their silver chains and such. I find it disappointing to be honest, as it seems like a blatant rip off to charge someone for a charm and then try to make an additional several dollars off of them for a chain. *shrugs* Better for me though, eh? =) I like taking care of you guys and keeping you all happy!
Also, I'm considering switching to only Priority Mail. Which means shipping prices would increase a bit. I'd love your thoughts on this. I'm just REALLY tired of spending hours at the post office mailing packages (plus gas prices are horrible). It would be so much easier methinks to just print the priority labels online and have them picked up. It's a shame you can't do First Class online. I'm just worried that people aren't going to be too happy with increased shipping prices, especially if they only order like one charm. Hmm...what to do...
Well...I'm about halfway done with the bulk of the Summer Smoothie Cupcakes...yeyyy!!! *clappity clap* I think I'm going to close off orders for them this week. Not sure exactly what day, but I'll send out a newsletter (as promised) to let you all know when exactly I will be closing the summer smoothie orders.
Why am I closing them? Well...to make room for my new Party Cupcakes of course! I absolutely adore these cupcakes, and they have been receiving fantastic reviews so I'm going to be creating a wide range of Party Cupcakes. You'll have the ability to customize your own on my website, as with all my cupcakes. ^_^ I think customization is just so special. Where else can you get an (affordable) item that you build from top to bottom! (I also have a little surprise planned where you'll be able to literally customize your own cupcake in real time on my website and see how it looks...yey how cool will that be?)
So the Party Cupcakes will most likely be the last items I add before I start introducing my fall line. Can you tell I'm uber excited about this? I would love to tell you all some of the items I'll be adding...but I know a few copycats that unfortunately stalk my sites and blog and like to make similar posts and similar items LOL (how unoriginal!!) so I'm not going to give anything away just yet. They'll actually have to force themselves to be creative for once. Imagine that!! =P

Updates From the Chocolate Room
Typically I send emails out to my customers to let them know the status of their order. Usually I only need to do that when the production is running a bit slow and I know that the TAT might be a little longer than promised. So I send emails letting people know, if their order is up next to be made, currently being made, occasionally an email to let them know when their item will ship if I can't get to the PO as soon as I would like, and always an email to confirm that their item has shipped.
But I'm wondering...is this too much? I receive good feedback and thanks from everyone for keeping them as updated as I possibly can and lots of good feedback on my customer service, which is extremely important to me. But at the same time, sending those emails can be a bit taxing.
I'm thinking that instead of sending out all those emails, I'm going to encourage people to come to my blog where I will be regularly updating on the status of most orders.
So...it would work like this. You'd receive an auto email after your purchase. If....let's say 3 weeks go by and you're curious about your order status. You could come to my blog and read what order numbers I'm currently working on, what orders are in the next batch (I have to do everything in batches), and an estimated shipping time. Then when your order ships, I'll send you a confirmation email.
In version 2.0 of the Tiny Cravings site design, this will all be taken care of, as there will be customer accounts so you'd only have to login to your account, and click a button to check on the status of your order. But until that happy day...I think I'm going to have a little banner/table chart listing the batches, production, and estimated shipping for each batch. That should also help keep ME on schedule, yeah? =)

Is It Fall Yet? -oops
So what's new in the wonderful world of Tiny Cravings?
Things have been really quiet lately (not for me, but with you lot =P)...yes I realize it's summer and all, but I can't help but wonder where people are disappearing to! =) Possibly silently awaiting the arrival of their goodies after a well deserved online game of hop scotch where in your credit card is currently having a lay in from overwork? I know lots of people who went all out at the beginning of summer and are now just sitting back, picking their teeth with a toothpick, rubbing their bellies, and waiting for their packages to arrive. Ha!!
I'm still working on Summer Smoothie Cupcakes...it's like the neverending fruit cupcake at the moment. I definitely plan on taking photos after the majority of them are made, as I do so love to see them all lined up and looking so pretty.
Oh and speaking of photos...dun dun DUN!! I myself just spent a pretty penny on a new digital camera. Can't wait to get her! Yes, apparently I've decided that it's a she? Who knows why. Perhaps her sleek and sexy appearance? It's a Canon SLR, top notch and hopefully worth every cent. I've never owned a Canon but have only heard the best. And with this magical new photographing device I will be able to bring you only the most amazing and mouth watering photos of your favorite Tiny Cravings goodies. You'll see!! But you should be just as excited as I am.
Am I crazygirl already getting excited for Halloween? I can't deny that Halloween...Thanksgiving (the ever-so-popular excuse to gorge your face in between), and of course Christmas are without a doubt THE most amazing times of year. That whole Fall/Early Winter crossover leaves me feeling all wonderfully warm and enchanted inside. =)
Sooo this year (I'm already working on new items) I'm going all out for the holiday seasons. And I am really really excited to start sharing some of my Halloween designs with you lot. But it's far too early for that...right? Maybe by early August I'll start showing off some of the up coming "stuff" to get your pumpkins in a bunch.
So to sum up. Lots and lots of Summer Smoothie Cupcakes currently in production. New camera on its way!! Really fantastic new photos coming soon. Halloween designs coming soon!! *gets excited* I plan on getting everyone pumped up and pumpkined out for Halloween this year. Yeyyy!!!

New Party Cupcakes

Have I mentioned that I looove when people read and comment on my blog? =P You guys are awesome.
So here's another little sneak peek at my newest cupcake design...Party Cupcakes!! How fun are these. I noticed some people mentioning that they would like even tinier cupcakes than the ones I had been making...well...here you go! These are my smallest cupcake style, just over 1/2" tall by 1/2" wide and deliciously scented in yummy Buttercream Frosting to keep you sticking them up your nosies all day. ^_^
I'll be listing several of these cupcakes on my etsy this evening: Tiny Cravings Etsy
And I'll be putting them up on my website soon. But not yet...the orders are still pouring in for the Summer Smoothie Cupcakes and I don't want to cut those off just yet. =) But I'll send an email when the new Party Cupcakes are up on my website. You'll even be able to order these by the dozen/half dozen at a discount.

Buttercream Cupcake

Like them? They remind me a bit of the Sweet Nikki cupcake from Bangerang Bake Shop (used to be Fat Daddy). Same yellow cake and pink buttercream frosting. Anyways! If you love sugar scrubs (and who doesn't?) you're going to fall in love with Cocoapink's new Scrub Sundae Bar, where you can buy scrubs by the scoop and put together your own delicious and amazing sugar scrub sundae!!

I placed an order last night for a Pistachio/Vanilla Waffle Cone, Buttercream Frosting/Blackberry, and over a dozen single scoop samples: Black Chocolate, Vanilla Bean Noel, Strawberry Noel, London Lemon Curd, Waffle Cone, Green Tea Ice Cream, Pina Colada Cotton Candy, and many more (ONLY $1.50 each for samples!!! O_O).
I figure that her 1 oz. sample sizes are *perfect* for one use in the shower. Full body scrub down. If you're not doing a full body they could last you two or three showers even. Sooo I love buying scrub samples because a. they are 50% off at the moment, and b. they are one shot wonders so you can use one amazing scrub in one shower and not have to worry about water or bacteria and such getting into your large size scrubs that live in your shower. =)
In fact, I'll probably go back and buy more scrub samples later today. Addicted? Why yes, yes I am. AND for good reason! I promise I'm not the only cocoapink-hair crack-obsessed-koolaid-drinking-rabid-fangirl, just visit her forum and you'll see what I mean. Girls clawing each other to get their hands on these items! Settled In And Sorted

I'm thrilled to announce that Tiny Cravings is all comfortably settled into its new home for the summer, and will be putting out all sorts of wonderful and splediferous new items. Hopefully lots of Limited Edition Summer Items and the like. =)
Now that we're all "settled and sorted" all outstanding orders will be shipped out this week, most likely tomorrow if I can manage it. The rest of the shop is once again available for your customization and purchase, and the TAT is down to 1-2 weeks. Yeyy!! Do the happy TAT dance! I should totally make a dancing gif for that, lol!
I swear, Mercury never gives me a break. As a gemini I always struggle like mad through retrograde periods. But now that Mercury's turned direct *cue song* "turn around...every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming round..." wow...see!? Just look how much my energy has changed now. I'm actually singing on my blog. LOL. It's like day and night!
Next week my cousin and I are going to a Birthday Massacre concert. (woohoo *pumps fist*) I love this band and have been a fan for several years now. I'm totally ecstatic to see them perform live. If you don't know who The Birthday Massacre is, good lord, you're missing out. Check out their website! It's sooo wonderfully immersive. I have every intention of making the Tiny Cravings website that amazingly awesome. Someday. Hopefully soon! =)

I'm thrilled to announce that Tiny Cravings is all comfortably settled into its new home for the summer, and will be putting out all sorts of wonderful and splediferous new items. Hopefully lots of Limited Edition Summer Items and the like. =)
Now that we're all "settled and sorted" all outstanding orders will be shipped out this week, most likely tomorrow if I can manage it. The rest of the shop is once again available for your customization and purchase, and the TAT is down to 1-2 weeks. Yeyy!! Do the happy TAT dance! I should totally make a dancing gif for that, lol!
I swear, Mercury never gives me a break. As a gemini I always struggle like mad through retrograde periods. But now that Mercury's turned direct *cue song* "turn around...every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming round..." wow...see!? Just look how much my energy has changed now. I'm actually singing on my blog. LOL. It's like day and night!
Next week my cousin and I are going to a Birthday Massacre concert. (woohoo *pumps fist*) I love this band and have been a fan for several years now. I'm totally ecstatic to see them perform live. If you don't know who The Birthday Massacre is, good lord, you're missing out. Check out their website! It's sooo wonderfully immersive. I have every intention of making the Tiny Cravings website that amazingly awesome. Someday. Hopefully soon! =)

Post Office Blues
Phew! I just spent forever at the post office, but it feels great to have all the April orders finally shipped. Sometimes I feel bad when I go in there and there's like 3 people in line...and by the time I leave there's like 20 people in line giving me the evil eye. LOL!!
I should have all the May orders done within the next week...and then I'll be totally and completely caught up. =) I'll be working on lots of new limited edition summer items. I don't plan on taking pre-orders though, I'm just going to see how much stock I can make for summer.
But for now...I get to relax! Thank goodness. Even if it is only for a day. =P Lots and lots of other stuff going on in my head at the moment, but I haven't been sleeping and my brain is sort of FRIED. So! I'm going to take a nap and attempt to write something more coherent later.

Few Extra Spring Cupcakes!
I've had just about every person who ordered a spring cupcake or item within the past two months ask me if they can grab another spring cupcake. =P I think they're addictive? Maybe? Haha.
Anyways...I ending up making a tiny few extra for this very purpose. If I had time to hunt down the first people who emailed me about a certain cupcake I would let them have first dibs, but that would take forever to go through all my emails and comments entered at checkout.

Temporarily Closed To Play Catch Up =)
I've had an overwhelming amount of emails from people asking why they can't order cupcake jewelry and when they will be able to, and begging me to put things back in stock. While I truly appreciate these emails, I can't respond to all of them so please don't be offended if you don't receive a reply.
At the moment I need to hold firm to my decision to close the shop until I can get caught up on orders. I plan to be caught up this weekend and should have nearly everything ready to ship on Monday. However whether or not I will keep the shop closed a little bit longer so that I can work on getting some things in stock, I still haven't decided.
Tiny Cravings will soon be undergoing some major changes, and if I continue to take orders and play the "catch up" game, then that will seriously stunt our growth in the new direction...and I've already been doing that for months. So I really need this time to concentrate on the future. My apologies to all those who have been ordering from TC for awhile and have been counting on us always being there when you need a special gift for yourself or a friend. I promise it's only temporary, and things will be back online as soon as possible.

Spring Cupcake Pre-Orders Have Shipped
Hi Cupcakes,
Yes that's right...finally all your Spring Cupcake Pre-Orders have shipped!
I snapped a few quick shots of them before packaging them up and shipping them off. =)
Now I need to get busy on the mound of other orders from April and May...but hopefully I'll have them all done by the end of this week and should have them ready to ship on Monday. (fingers crossed) I really got sick at the worst possible time, but no worries. And I'll be refunding shipping to everyone who has had to wait over a month for their order to arrive.
In other news, my birthday is coming up on June 10th. I really really really want one of these!
If you don't know what it is...it's an exact replica of the Alethiometer (truth meter) from the book/movie His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass. I just adore it, but I'm deciding whether I want to spend $200 on it. I love collecting divination objects, and this would be great to add to the collection. Maybe I'll get lucky and get it for my birthday. =)

May Update!
Hihi Cupcakes! =)
I'm currently not accepting any orders, due to some really exciting new things happening soon and also to get caught up with all your orders, and there are a bunch. I'll keep you all updated on the progress as these new things as much as I can here on my blog and in my newsletter, so make certain you're signed up! But I also don't want to give too much away until everything is ready...and there will be alot of work involved and I'll be working as hard as I can.
Spring Cupcake Pre-Orders should be ready to go out by Monday May 19th. Yey! Phew. I'll be happy when those are all in the mail. I need to make sure I don't forget to take some pics of them before I ship them out though, they're so adorable all together in a bunch hehe. All other orders have been pushed back an additional week due to me falling ill at the beginning of the month. My sincere apologies, and I really appreciate everyone's patience so much!

I'm delighted to tell you all, that now a portion of all sales from Tiny Cravings goes directly to the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) each month!!
What can I say...the Sarah McLachlan commercial got to me. I've always loved her, and the shih-tzus (I have a shih-tzu) in that commercial just broke my heart. People who neglect or abuse animals should be put to sleep!
I strongly urge you all to watch the video. And visit myaspca.org and make a donation to help our furry friends!! You will feel so much better after doing so. It feels really good to help the less fortunate, and I hope all my Tiny Cravings customers will take solace knowing that a portion of their money is going directly to a VERY GOOD cause! =)

It's Bunny Season!
Hi Cupcakes!
Yes Spring is in the air, time for precious baby birds and bunnies and flowering things. =) How can anyone not love Spring? I'm thrilled with the response that my new Spring Cupcakes have received, and will be working hard to get those out to everyone in a timely manner. Exactly when, is still in question. I'm hoping for the end of this month, but we'll have to see how many of these orders keep coming in, and when I'm going to have to cut it off and stop accepting more...at least for a while.
Or maybe the first set of pre-orders will ship at the end of the month, and then there may be a second set that ship mid-May or something like that. We'll see. You guys are gonna love them though...they're quite hard to let go of I must admit. =P

Is It Spring Yet?
I realize I've been neglecting my blog. It seems to be cyclical in nature with me...I become obsessed with certain things for small amounts of time, then it quickly passes onto another obsession, and while I'm in the midst of a creative or obsession vortex I tend to forget about everything else. Is that what ADD is? =P
Anyways...I've finally managed to collect my mailing list after losing hundreds of contacts after my hard drive committed electricide. *tear* So I've just blasted hundreds of people with my first *official* newsletter, announcing my new Spring Cupcakes. I must say...I love these things. I'm a little reluctant to say goodbye to them, but I'll be happy to see them going to good homes. =) Only a few are currently in stock and the rest will be pre-order.
Here are some images from my lovely spring cupcake collection. Please don't use these images without my permission. =)
Yes...they are all scented, and yes that is a MOJITO cupake there. It's my favorite, and it smells dead on a Mojito. It makes me want to get out the Bacardi Limon, limes, mint, sugar, and mash up a pitcher of these like I used to do when I bartended in South Beach. =P Ahh memories!
I actually miss bartending. I might try to start doing it like twice a week or something just for fun, but I'm also trying to FOCUS (ADD?? LOL) my time and energy into creating my masterpiece. Which is why you haven't seen many new clay designs and such from me lately. Things are changing. I'm growing. Things are evolving...it's all very exciting. And all very time consuming as well. But Tiny Cravings will always hold that special place in my heart and I doubt I could ever do away with it completely, I'm just really working on THE MAIN EVENT now. =)

Update
Phew! I just sent out a ton of orders today. =)
It always feels great to get a large batch done. However, I always seem to manage to forget to take photos before shipping! Grr. *slaps wrist*
So I know I've already raved about cocoapink.net, but owner Ilona now has her forum up and running and it is absolutely gorgeous! I'm an admin over there, so come and visit me and check out her totally fab products: Cocoapink Forum
I just got my brand new oven in the mail today...yey! Never thought I'd be excited to get an oven haha. It's for clay in case you were wondering. I'm moving into my dad's shop and setting up a nice roomy work space for myself so I can be totally devoted to my craft...and my room won't be cluttered with shipping supplies and half packed orders and such. =) Also I'm going to TRY to work semi-normal hours, as my typical work hours usually involve me working from 6pm-5am. Why? I dunno I just seem to get more done at night! lol
